Triseptennial

TRISEPTENNIAL

Triseptennial is a musical anthology of Ali Dvoršak ibn Elabjer, a curated journey through three seven-year cycles of his creative heritage. Its tangible existence is in the form of carved wax, of three shards carrying epochal echoes of genesis and metamorphosis.

Each groove is a temporal journey, affording glimpses of evolution through the alchemy of music, revealing pillars of a structure stretching far beyond mere years. Within these grooves each era is distilled, its nuances extracted, preserved, and enshrined.

Thank you for understanding.

Hello, and welcome (:
My name is Ali Dvoršak, also known by my moniker Elabjer, and I'm delighted to have you here. Allow me to guide you through Triseptennial; from its inception to production, and track by track through constituent periods, to explore the concepts, contexts, and narratives behind each creation. While music can certainly be enjoyed for its own sake, I find that comprehending its origins significantly enriches the experience, as despite what the gospel of scientism would have us believe - nothing emerges out of pure vacuum. Music is a potent form of emotional expression that easily transcends rational comprehension without some insight into its background, and by gaining an understanding of what it stands for, what it communicates, and its significance, your experience should be deeply enriched. This anthology reflects my passage through life’s complexities, and just like any personal journey, it's not always linear or predictable. There are twists and turns, moments of clarity and confusion, victories and setbacks.. these aren’t just abstract themes; they are my lived experiences, moments that have shaped who I am, and, in turn, sparked and molded the music herein.
Enjoy your stay.
Cheers!
